Organic Mushrooms was built in Canada.
We grow here. We manufacture here. Our team lives here. And from the beginning, we’ve believed there is something special about building a company that doesn’t just come from Canada, but contributes to it.
Because there are people in our own communities who need support. Parents watching their parents get older. Seniors trying to hold onto their independence. Families looking for better ways to support the people they love. Researchers asking questions that could change how we understand health and aging for generations to come.
We don’t have all the answers, but we do have an opportunity to help find them.
That’s why we’ve made a simple commitment: 20% of our profits go back into Canadian health and wellness.
Every order helps us do more than grow Organic Mushrooms. It helps us invest in work we believe could make a difference here at home.
We’re working to get our mushrooms into research studies and clinical trials. We’re building relationships within Canada’s senior care industry. We’re supporting initiatives that explore health, wellness and healthy aging.
Some of this work is already underway, but we’ve got a long way to go. Some of the most meaningful things we hope to accomplish haven’t even started yet.
That’s the point. We want the impact to grow as we do.
When someone chooses Organic Mushrooms, most of the time they’re thinking about themselves or someone they love.
Maybe it’s a morning scoop of Lion’s Mane. A bottle of Turkey Tail purchased for a family member. Or simply a daily routine someone hopes will help them feel their best for a little longer.
But that purchase doesn’t have to end there.
Every purchase helps fund what comes next.
More research and more trials. More conversations with researchers, practitioners and care providers. More opportunities to put Canadian-grown functional mushrooms into the hands of people and institutions that can help us understand what they’re truly capable of.
And, eventually, we hope, more ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians.
Every purchase. Every product. Every customer.
We believe in mushrooms. But belief isn’t enough.
Functional mushrooms have been used for generations. Today, science is asking increasingly sophisticated questions about their compounds, their biology and their potential role in human health.
We want to be part of answering those questions.
That’s why a portion of what we reinvest goes toward getting our products and ingredients into research, studies and trials. Not to prove a marketing claim, but to learn. To give researchers more opportunities to study Canadian-grown mushrooms, to build stronger evidence, and to help move an industry we care deeply about forward.
Because if these mushrooms can do more, we want to help find out.
Supporting Canadian research into functional mushrooms.
Helping put Canadian-grown mushrooms into real research environments.
Contributing to a better understanding of what these mushrooms can do.
Some of the people who could benefit most are already all around us.
Canada is getting older. But behind that simple fact are millions of individual stories. Mothers. Fathers. Grandparents. Partners. Neighbours.
People who spent their lives caring for others, and who deserve the same care, dignity and attention as they grow older.
That’s why one of the areas we’re especially passionate about is healthy aging and senior care.
We’re working to build relationships within Canada’s senior care community and explore responsible ways functional mushrooms can become part of broader conversations around nutrition, wellness and quality of life.
There is a lot still to learn. But we believe it’s worth doing the work.
For the people who raised us.
For the people we love.
And for the generations that come after them.
Our story doesn’t only begin with people. It begins with fungi.
Long before we put mushrooms into capsules, powders or tinctures, fungi were quietly doing extraordinary things beneath our feet. They were breaking down organic matter, cycling nutrients, supporting forests and connecting ecosystems.
They’re a reminder that nothing in nature exists entirely on its own.
Neither do we.
That’s why our commitment extends beyond human health.
We support and participate in Canada’s agricultural community and are committed to growing our involvement in reforestation, forest conservation and ecosystem restoration.
The forests and agricultural lands around us aren’t simply part of our Canadian identity. They’re part of the reason we do what we do.
And as Organic Mushrooms grows, so will our responsibility to protect them.
We could have built Organic Mushrooms differently.
We could source more from overseas. We could manufacture somewhere cheaper. We could take what we earn here and simply call it success.
But that’s never been the company we wanted to build.
We chose to grow in Canada because we believe where something comes from matters. And if we’re fortunate enough to build something meaningful here, we believe that success should find its way back to the people, communities and ecosystems that made it possible.
As Organic Mushrooms grows, we want our impact to grow with it. More research. More support. More restoration. More opportunities to make a difference here at home.
Because success, to us, shouldn’t only be measured by how much we grow.
It should be measured by how much we’re able to give back.
You’re helping us invest in ours.
Better health for people. Better health for the planet. And a healthier future, grown right here at home.
GROWN HERE. GIVEN BACK HERE.
